About the Role




Responsible for certification decisions in accordance with BSI procedures, accreditation and where required technical scheme requirements. This includes supporting activities including but not limited to customer support, certificate issuance and maintenance of external industry databases (i.e. IATF, OASIS).


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete technical/certification reviews within accreditation requirements. Ensure quality/integrity of reviews by following departmental procedures, calibration communications and/or set guidelines.
  • Adhere to defined productivity goals and objectives set by management
  • Generate and follow up on corrections identified during the review process
  • Complete supporting administrative activities where required:
    • Certificate issuance

    • Database update
    • SAP update
    • Customer and auditor inquiries

  • Perform assessments as a Team Member if necessary to support BSI business needs





About You




  • Bachelor’s degree or higher[1] (or equivalent certification or work experience).
  • Relevant experience depending on sector (where applicable)



General Competence Requirements for Management Systems Auditors:  


Individuals holding this position will be able to demonstrate the following general competence requirements:

  • Knowledge of management systems practices
  • Knowledge of audit principles, practices and techniques
  • Knowledge of specific management system standards/normative documents
  • Knowledge of certification bodies processes
  • Knowledge of a client’s business sector
  • Knowledge of client products, processes and organization
  • Language skills appropriate to all levels within the organization
  • Note taking and report writing skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Interviewing skills
  • Audit management skills
