About the Role

Performs Human Resources related duties at the professional support level but with strong writing skills and business acumen.  Individual will be involved in minor employee relations, benefits inquiries, employment verification and initial phone screening.  Individual will be responsible for administering policies and procedures as well.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for geographically disbursed office and home based employees.
  • Provide training to managers and employees on HR related programs such as performance appraisal, setting objectives and FMLA.
  • Perform benefits compliance filing for US and Canada
  • Work with management to resolve employee relations concerns within a timely fashion and work to assist management with the performance improvement process.
  • First line interviewing to provide candidates with detailed information on the company, our values, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.  
  • Follow up with benefit vendors to assist HRIS Specialist as needed.
  • Back up to HR Business Partner(s) as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum 5 years Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum 1 year working with home based or remote employees.
  • Minimal travel, less than 5% required.
