About the Role

This sales consultant will be instrumental in helping to grow our Rapid Healthcare Injury Prevention Program globally, with a heavy focus on the USA. This exciting position has sales/business development responsibilities, so we are looking for a unique individual who has expertise in business development, loves to sell and is great at it; and wants to be generously rewarded with an exceptional compensation package for meeting goals. The primary role of this position is to sell RAPID healthcare injury prevention services to hospitals nationwide, this role will also identify and support service and product sales of other, non-RAPID, BSI offerings as identified through the RAPID sales process.  This person could be located most anywhere in the US but have the willingness to travel extensively to meet client needs all over the US.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing sales leadership in RAPID healthcare injury prevention programs - making new and existing client sales
  • Meeting sales objectives, maintaining sales plans and updating sales forecast and pipeline
  • Generating leads, coordinating meetings and proposals, and conducting follow ups to meet sales targets
  • Proposal preparation, including estimating work scope and price, and presentation process and managing client relations to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Directing the activities of other sales personnel in accordance with set strategies for sales
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and deliver effective marketing collateral and campaigns
  • Developing and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management system to track leads and measure sales performance
  • Maintaining a high profile externally and through membership/ attendance in healthcare industry functions, continually increasing contact base
  • EHS project management and coordination of project teams including serving as a Client Steward (Account Manager) for key accounts
  • Seen as a leader within BSI and outside BSI, as a result of your technical, industry and competitive knowledge
 

About You

Education & Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in a business or health sciences field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of related sales experience is required, preferably in the sales of professional services in a healthcare setting
  • Experience interacting with senior healthcare executives (e.g. Chief Nursing Officer, Risk Manager, Safety Officer, VP of Human Resources, etc.)
  • Highly organized and self motivated
  • Critical thinking ability
Other Skills/Abilities:
  • Results driven and highly energetic
  • Initiative for business development and client service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication plus senior level presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-sufficient in current office applications (eg MS Office)
