About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant to gain professional visibility within the organisation, expand their commercial knowledge and continue to develop and grow their accounting knowledge. Suits an ambitious qualified accountant with a curiosity and interest in the commercial drivers of the business.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial and management reporting for Professional Services Business Streams. Ensures the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the financial and management statements for the business.
  • Preparation of accurate and complete monthly Unbilled Revenue accruals and expense analysis. Work closely with business streams management to determine month end accruals. Assist in the research and explanation of any account variances.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounts.
  • General Accounting: Prepare weekly Cash Flow report and bank reconciliations. Assist in Audit requirements. Support legal, tax and state compliance requirements.
  • Preparation of the monthly Management account, including P & L, performance KPIs, analysis and commentary for Professional Services Business Streams.
  • Provide financial support, business analysis and ad-hoc support to stream management as required.
  • Conduct financial analysis on profitability enhancing opportunities and strategies.
  • Pro-active communications with local stream management and global stream finance personnel and participation where necessary at management meetings.
  • Support the budget, forecasting and short-term outlook projections for the business streams working together with the operating business management.
  • Review, evaluate and recommend improvements on internal processes.
  • Collate the non-financial data from operational systems, incorporated into the monthly management reports.


About You


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience of managing end to end Finance Function
  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years with direct work experience with financial reconciliation, analysis and management reporting and analysis
  • 1 – 3 years in financial planning & analysis function desirable
  • Strong knowledge of multiple ERP systems, and HFM would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS, business principles and standard operating practices
