About the Role

The Supply Chain Representative is an integral member of the Supply Chain Services SCM (Supplier Compliance Manager) operations team. Responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of clients who are working to initiate or enhance existing supply chain risk evaluation programs. The Analyst will work to ensure clients' experience within SCM is successful and efficient by acting as an extension to the clients' team for implementation of the software, providing on-boarding support, program configuration, client specific Supply Chain analysis, regular business reviews of client activity and their suppliers along with recommendations for program improvements. The Analyst will provide system training, share best practices and recommendations, and conduct thought provoking presentations for clients as well as create and provide documentation about SCS product services.

 

This role is about client satisfaction through responsive service and proficiency in using the SCM software for programs such as C-TPAT (and other Government Supply Chain Security Programs), Conflict Minerals (Dodd Frank), Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Continuity and other Supply Chain impacted programs. The Analyst will build on trusted relationships and add value to SCS clients and their businesses by providing them with excellent service with every interaction.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Analyst is the face of BSI and the SCS team, considered a trusted extended team member to the client
  • Understand assigned clients' portfolio business needs/model, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Work with SCM Program Manager to design implementation schedules for new clients; Follow project implementation schedules, take initiative in driving the planning, designing and configuration of the client's SCM instance while working with the clients to understand and to their needs
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients in order to understand and determine business practices, to provide product configuration guidance and training, and user support and issue resolution
  • Provide regular reports consisting of detailed analysis of client accounts for trending and risk identification, initiate and explore areas of expanding the information obtained about clients' supply chain partners to further enhance the analytics
  • Identify challenges and opportunities within the clients' supply chain risk analysis programs based off the analytics, provide recommendations of solutions and/or potential sales or advisory opportunities that may be of benefit to the clients' programs
  • Provide first level technical support to assigned clients in the identification and resolution of issues, problem solving and creativity for understanding the issue and what may be needed to address the clients' needs
  • Investigate and follow through on the resolution of issues for clients
  • Conduct testing of SCM system enhancements that are getting ready to be released, working with select group of clients who will also be participating in the process
  • Assist with development and maintenance of client training plans and materials
  • Provide SCS team support as you assist with SCM projects, reporting and documentation updates, leveraging experience and knowledge from working with clients to provide a proactive approach
  • Provide SCM product demonstrations and training for potential and current clients

About You

We seek someone who meets all of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; in business or supply chain management or compliance preferred
  • Prior five (5) years of experience of working within a client supporting role
  • Experience working in an software support/implementation/services environment is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with data analytics and power point presentation skills (creating and presenting)
