  • About the Role

    The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for handling all accounts payable and related duties from opening mail, getting invoices approved, entering them into the accounting system, issuing payment and filing paid invoices. This includes reviewing and processing employee expense reports. 


    Essential Responsibilities

    • Separate incoming mail and prepare invoices for processing
    • Manage and analyze large amounts of data for accuracy
    • Establish vendor and employee master file data in expense management systems
    • Process vendor and supplier invoices in SAP
    • Alphabetize and file invoices on a continual basis, occasionally pulling invoices if requested
    • Ability to understand the relationship between general ledger accounts
    • Prepare account analysis by vendor and by account
    • Communicate with vendors, buyers and other members of the organization to resolve problems
    • Process employee expense reimbursements
    • Cut checks or request wire transfers to pay supplier invoices on a timely or as-directed basis
    • Assist in all areas of general accounting as needed

    We seek someone who meets all of the following criteria:

    • BS/BA in Accounting and or Finance preferable
    • Two (2) to three (3) years of accounts payable experience
    • SAP or other ERP system experience helpful
    • Experience in a regional accounting office environment helpful
    • Concur Expense Management system experience helpful
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Must be able to multi-task
