  • About the Role

    The Planner provides support to field based Operations staff including auditors and external resources for efficient data entry, auditor planning and scheduling of customer visits and entering all workflow changes for clients. The Planner position is responsible for the effective execution of all Assessment Delivery work control processes. He/she is responsible for the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of all resources to conduct audit activities which result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity.

     

      Essential Responsibilities:

    • Creating a unified customer experience which demonstrated the value added services BSI provides to its customers both internal and external.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients once a signed sales agreement is received
    • Implementation of activities to support and achieve operational Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
    • Planning current and new business
    • Processing planning related change requests and workflows within SAP.
    • Assist sales and operations management in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the client management program and strategically manage the customer journey.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients once a signed sales agreement is received
    • Support sales in the development of proposals and quotations as required for clients
    • Assist in aligning contract renewal quoting with current pricing and with new T&Cs and Scheme Specific Requirements
    • Complete existing & new customer vendor/purchasing forms, documents, legal requirements and purchase orders
    • Prepare and propose audit programs for individual sampled locations (in coordination with CCM)
    • Act as liaison for certification review team to resolve certification issues and update clients on certificate status
    • Facilitate support for answers from technical review, scheme managers, legal and other departments to assist with questions or issues with clients
    • Use the required tools for the job such as SFDC, PointGlobal, SAP, BMS, Concur, Outlook and other relevant systems to manage clients and ensure the accuracy of system data
    • For multi-site clients: create and maintain sampling plans; develop and analyze annual synthesis reports for clients
    • Balance a variety of tasks and handle pressure from field based sales staff, operations staff, and clients
    • Maintain a minimum of three (3) competency codes and keep up to date with scheme updates and revisions related to those codes
    • Manage client feedback as required
    • Perform relevant duties as assigned

    Education/Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Knowledge and Attributes:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills essential
    • Ability to work at pace with complex information highly desirable
    • Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through are desirable
    • SAP knowledge a plus
    • Logistics background is desirable
    • Knowledge of BSI organization, systems and interfaces an advantage
    • Medical Device regulation knowledge an advantage but not essential

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years planning/scheduling/logistics experience is an advantage
    • Minimum 2 years customer service experience is desired

    Travel:

    • 0-10% travel as required

    • English
    • Portuguese
    • Bilingual in English and Portuguese a plus

    Physical Requirement

    • Ability to function in a high-pressure environment and to meet stringent deadlines for completing tasks
    • Ability to operate a personal computer
    • Normal motor skills and eye-hand coordination
    • Ability to sit for extended periods and work in a smoke-free environment
    • Long periods of viewing data on a computer screen and/or on paper are a necessity
    • Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment
    • Must be able to lift/move objects up to ten pounds
    • Requires the ability to read and record data quickly and accurately; to prepare records and reports and post data; to avoid perceptual errors in performing computations
    • Valid USA drivers license
