  • About the Role

    BSI EHS Services and Solutions is hiring a Senior Industrial Hygienist to support our Maryland offices. This is a full-time position with benefits.


    The Industrial Hygienist is the direct support for the pipeline for highly potent compounds.  The Industrial Hygienist will be the subject matter expert on product development and exposure potential for highly potent compounds developed by the client.  They will advise and support laboratory expansion projects, and they will communicate and conduct hazard training for staff members.  Additionally, the Industrial Hygienist will develop a customized procedure for the handling of highly potent compounds in research, development and GPF. They will advise and communicate the toxicology and hazards associated with highly potent compounds. The Industrial Hygienist will support operations as the compounds advance through each phase of it lifecycle.

    • Developing a Governance model

    About You

    Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in science-related field
    • At least three (3) years of experience with manufacturing safety to include risk assessments and incident investigations at a biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
    • Five (5) years of related Safety, Health, and Environmental specialty
